A fleet of trains from China has arrived in Belarus, making a tangible connection with the pulse of Europe. These vibrant and multicolored "iron boxes" from the East are poised to undergo an extraordinary journey across continents. What lies ahead for them on this remarkable cross-border voyage?

They will traverse mountains and valleys on the tracks, transitioning from the broad-gauge railways of Central Asia to the standard-gauge rails of Europe. The China-Europe Railway Express passes through nations like Kazakhstan and Belarus, linking Belarusian railways with the Polish railways through the Brest Terminal in Belarus. At this gauge-changing junction, trains are shunted from broad-gauge railways to standard-gauge ones, facilitating seamless transport across Europe and fostering a multitude of commercial opportunities.
These iron boxes will also climb onto the backs of trucks and ships, embracing multimodal transport on their way to the rest of the world. The containers disembarking in Belarus might continue their journey using various transportation modes, such as railways, highways, and maritime routes, reaching all corners of the world in diverse approaches.
Moreover, they may be tagged with digital codes, embarking on a digitized international expedition. To enhance international cargo transportation and logistics, Belarus has been promoting paperless office technologies since 2021. Additionally, the containers might be equipped with "electronic guardians", allowing their movements to be precisely tracked within digital systems.
Our special correspondent team from the Yangcheng Evening News had an exclusive interview with Chislatkovich Andrei, the General Manager of Belarusian Railway International Transport, a Belarusian State-owned company, and Alexander, the First Deputy Director of Beltamozhservice, a Belarusian State-owned logistics enterprise.
Having visited China multiple times, Andrei never fails to praise the nation. As for Alexander, his interview room is adorned with the company slogan in Chinese characters. For them, the arrival of this Chinese train signifies opportunities and hope from the moment it crosses into the Belarusian border.
For these Oriental "iron boxes", their incredible journey here signifies an adventure, just as much as it does for the Belarusian logistics professionals.

安德烈已经不止一次来过中国，提起中国总是赞不绝口。而亚历山大接受采访的房间中，就有赫然用中文写着的企业标语。在他们看来，来自中国的这列火车，从驶入白俄罗斯的国境开始，就代表着机遇和希望。
